The Libertyville Sunrise Rotary Club's mission is to assist local charities to provide services to those in need. Annually we raise and donate over $50,000 to local 501(c)3 agencies. The Goose Dropping Raffle is our main fund raiser and all proceeds will go to support the following charities:

The 2012 Goose Is Loose Festival Raffle is ready to make some lucky person $15,000 richer in the 6th Annual Raffle sponsored by the Libertyville Sunrise Rotary Club. Raffle tickets are just $25 each or 5 for $100; you have a great chance of winning.
The winner will be determined when numbered raffle chips geese are selected from a rotating drum at the Goose Is Loose Festival on July 28, 2012, located on Church Street in Downtown Libertyville.
The first chip selected from the drum will be determined by an independent judge as the $15,000 Grand Prize winner. After the Grand Prize Winner chip is selected, 10 additional chips will be selected, each representing a winner of $1,000. An additional 10 chips will be selected, each representing a winner of $500.
Goose Entries may be purchased online thru 7/26/12, in-person at Libertyville Village Hall during business hours, or at any regular Libertyville Sunrise Rotary meeting (Wednesdays; 7:00 a.m. - 8:15 a.m.; Lamb's Farm). All proceeds will be used to support Local and International Charities.
The winning geese will be determined by drawing Goose Chips from the tumbling drum.
The winning raffle numbers will be determined at the Goose is Loose Festival which is being staged on July 28, 2012, downtown Libertyville, on Church Street just West of Milwaukee Ave. All raffle entries will be recorded on individual “Goose Chips” which will be placed into a rotating drum that will serve as the means to facilitate a random drawing. Officials will be drawing individual winners one at a time and recording the numbers in sequence as they come from the drum. The anticipated timing for the drawing will be 9:00 PM on the night of the event.
